Student quotes:

“I love this project because I learn new things about different cultures and I think sustainability is really important.”

The successful participation in seven previous Comenius projects has strengthened our view that this form of cooperation is an important contribution for developing a better mutual understanding and, on the long run, to achieve a common European identity. Students as well as teachers profit immensely of this cooperation by gaining insight into the living conditions and attitudes of the countries and cultures involved in the project. Our first year students have the possibility to take several different major subjects which are taught bilingual in German and English e.g. Global Studies, International business studies and business English. To execute our international orientation we have a lot of teachers who have a high intercultural competence and language skills. In our school, lessons will often be done in a project orientated way and we have a well-established cooperation with international companies. Due to that our teachers are well organized and open-minded to new challenges. Our school has a lot of experiences in project, process and quality management.

In the federal state of Baden-Württemberg we have the concept of an “operatively autonomous school” which provides the frame work for quality development and quality assurence for vocational schools. We are one of those certified schools.
